Google Campaign Manager Integration

Google Campaign Manager integration allows you to validate all campaigns you create in Campaign Manager with AudienceReport.

In order to connect the system, the integration will be tied to your Google account and, if you do not want this, you can create an ad-hoc Google account and use this for this integration purpose.

Finally, with this integration, you will be able to create multiple integrations, meaning you will be able to connect different Google Campaign Manager accounts to your one AudienceReport account. Also, you will be able to connect the same account multiple times if you wish.

N.B. Please notice that when sending a tag from Google Campaign Manager to publishers, you need to make sure that they implement it either as:

  • Impression Tag (iframe) or
  • Impression Tag (Javascript)

How to integrate the systems?

Before setting up the integration, please make sure that the user you choose to integrate the two systems has the following permissions in Google Campaign Manager:

  • Permission to list advertisers and add event tags to advertisers
  • Permission to list campaigns, placements, sites, ads and creatives
  • Permission to manage creatives to apply video tracking

Now, log in to the AudienceReport account you wish to connect. Click on your profile on the top right corner and click on “Account settings”.

Please click on “next”. You will now have to choose which advertisers you wish to integrate with your AudienceReport account. Here you can choose to select all clients or only specific ones. Also, you will be asked to select a default country.

Please notice that with the new interface you will be able to connect multiple times a Campaign Manager account to one AudienceReport account. If you are running campaigns in one Campaign Manager account in different countries, then you will be able to create two integrations, each with a different default country. The same goes for advertisers, you will be able to set up more integrations for the same Campaign Manager but selecting different advertisers.

Once you are done choosing the advertisers and the country, click on "next".

Then, you will be asked to choose the granularity level of the integration. You can choose whether you want AudienceReport to report reach, frequency and profile on reach or placement level. Once you have selected the level, please click on “next”.

Next step is to select if you want the integration to automatically measure quartiles for your video campaigns. Selecting 'video funnel events' will mean that video start, 25%, 50%, 75 and complete events automatically are added to your campaign.
