Video Measurement Metrics

Video metrics

The metrics below are only visible if your campaign is a video campaign and if you have manually chosen to add these

  • View start: counts the number of times that a video started playing in the user’s browser.
  • View quartiles (25%, 50%, 75%): Is a metric showing how many users watched 25% / 50% / 75% of the video ad. This metric is shown as a percentage, but also as a total number of “events” on the event funnel.
  • View complete: represents how many users watched the video ad until the end. This metric is shown as a percentage, but also as a total amount of “events” on the event funnel.

Adding video start and video quartiles to the pixel

First, you need to create or add custom items to your report. You can follow these instructions for that.

You can assign a video channel to your items. There are the following channel options:

  • Video - Programmatic
  • Video - IO
  • Video - Connected TV

Then click “add items to report”, by clicking the button on the upper right corner.

You will get an overview of your video items. On the right side of the screen, select “get all tags”.

On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of events that can be measured for your items. Select the video metrics that you want to report on. You can choose between the following options:

  • Video start
  • Video quartile 25%
  • Video quartile 50%
  • Video quartile 75%
  • Video complete

You can set up Video metrics for YouTube and Connected TV (CTV) as well. If you do not have those integrations in your AudienceReport subscription, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Then, in the right upper corner, you can save and download your tags (as a .csv file), or just save and continue.
